Genre Change Over Time

Genre has been influenced by many different variables over the years. We chose to research this by dividing key events into three categories, What Came Before, Technology and The Outside World. 

Each category allowed us to understand what has implicated film genres as we know them now.

Brief

The Brief

we intend to create a promotional package for a film, which will include a trailer, poster and website homepage. 
we hope to end this year with a more developed idea of the effect that promotional packages have on our society today, and we feel, as team that this coursework will be successful in aiding our process of finding this knowledge.
